Motherless Daughters are unique when it comes to many things and one of them is the type of therapy we need.  Some reactions and coping mechanisms we develop are "normal" for us but without understanding that, some therapists might think we are crazy, or not very well adjusted, or that we need to "get over it already".

One of the most valuable things I can share with my clients in therapy is just what is normal for us and how that differs from women who still have their mothers.

While we can go on the lead full and fabulous lives, we never get over it and that's OK.  If you'd like more information about individual therapy, contact me  anytime.
